VR Santa’s Factory

Short description

Immersive 360° VR Christmas factory experience.

Palas Mall in Iași, Romania wanted to create a unique Christmas show for children that went beyond traditional decorations. The challenge was to design an immersive, interactive experience that would capture the magic of Santa’s gift factory and engage audiences in a memorable way.

As part of the production team at Riift, I handled the full CGI pipeline:

Modeling & Texturing: Built stylized factory assets, conveyor belts, and festive props.
Animation: Designed dynamic sequences to simulate gifts being produced and transported.
Rendering & Lighting: Created a vibrant, colorful environment optimized for VR projection.
Compositing: Integrated all elements into a seamless 360° experience.

The project was developed entirely in Houdini, leveraging procedural workflows to manage complex scenes and animations efficiently.
